A short term contract Supply Planner is required to join one of South Kent's foremost employers - a business that manufactures a number of household brands.
Reporting into the Supply Chain Planning Manager, the incoming candidate will be accountable for all supply planning of co-packed items within a specific product category in UK and France throughout their product life cycle. The post-holder will prepare supply schedules, raise purchase orders, and follow these through with suppliers proactively.
Moreover, the Supply Planner will monitor stock levels against inventory targets, working proactively with Supply Chain Planning Manger to optimise inventory, as well as being the key point of contact with external suppliers for the products in your allocated brands.
Experience of SAP is absolutely paramount. An FMCG background would be highly advantageous.
Applicants should possess demonstrable experience within a supply chain/planning role previously.
The role is initially for a three months period, this could increase to six months
