Facing the need to make staff redundant - or to release individuals - is never easy. At NAG we aim to make things less difficult with a comprehensive range of specialist redundancy services.

Our experienced staff offer group seminars and individual consultations to help employees adjust and prepare for the future following redundancy.

A Range of Redundancy Services

Group Seminars normally run for 10 delegates - comprise a one day workshop that encourages individuals to think about and analyse their situation. Discussion focuses around how to apply for jobs, speculative application letters and interview techniques. Each person will leave the seminar with a workbook to complete for a one to one follow up session.

Individual Consultations continue the work of the seminar on a one to one basis. The aim here is to build on the individual's list of achievements and experiences. A NAG consultant will help the individual prepare CVs and application forms and offer further advice and coaching regarding interview techniques.

The Job Search Resource Centre has a key role to play in helping individuals. Set up by NAG, this acts as a comprehensive listing of contacts and information. Consultants will target potential employers and recruitment agencies/consultancies and offer information on re-training options and Employment Service benefits.
