An exciting opportunity has arisen a a large business park in East Kent for an experienced Catering Manager to join an innovative and dynamic company.
Based on site, you will manage a team of up to 20 people across 4 venues, supplying over 2000 people per day with food and refreshments.
Experience managing a team of people is essential, you will be responsible for your staff and duties will include: roster planning, managing holidays and sickness, managing temporary workers and time sheets, performance management and regular one-on-one reviews.
A passion for food and the ability to cook is also essential. You will work alongside your Head Chef to develop new foods and recipes and should expect to lead by example and be on the floor occasionally.
You should have a good understanding of computer programs such as Microsoft Office and Excel. You will be working from computers to place food orders, plan budget spend and gather reports that you will present to Senior Management.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone to run their own department where you will be able to be creative with your product and provide exceptional food to a large quantity of people.
