A Data Protection Officer is required to join an organisation with multiple locations worldwide on a fixed term contract.
Working beneath the HR Director, the incoming candidate will be tasked to coordinate the firm's implementation of a robust GDPR process.
The role will include:
* Liaising with global departmental heads - communicating GDPR requirements to individuals and ensuring information is received and gathered in the correct fashion * Coordinating data collation * Communicating any issues (compliance, data breaches, system/process errors) to the HR Director * Liaising with external legal 3rd parties on best practice concerning data protection
The successful applicant will have a thorough working knowledge of Data Protection - this is essential. You will and be a confident communicator adept at Project Coordination/Management, considering the amount of global coordination the role entails. Meticulous and organised, the candidate will have the opportunity to work remotely on occasion. You will be self-motivated and able to work without supervision.
Candidates need to be able to start a new role with immediate effect. The role will start off as a fixed term contract (duration TBC).
First stage interviews are being held on 1st and 2nd of February.
