Business Development Manager
Full Job Description
A Business Development Manager is required to join a firm that enjoy an impressive market share across their product portfolio.
The incoming candidate will look after the south of the UK - focusing on the hospitality industry you'll manage and develop existing customer accounts but also develop new business opportunities within the correct sales channels (joinery companies, builders merchants, wholesalers, DIY, and architects).
The Business Development Manager will carry out face-to-face appointments with targeted decision makers and influencers and develop sales plans that support objectives for sales, profit, market share and competitive account penetration. Reporting into the General Manager, you will manage a number of blue chip national accounts, and undertake competitor analysis.
Applicants must have a strong commercial sales experience background with demonstrable experience of selling into and managing relevant customer accounts (those listed above). Experience of specification sales would be highly advantageous.
